New York, New York!!!!!!

The last weekend in March, my neighbor took her daughter to New York for her sixteenth birthday. She invited 2 of her friends who also turning sixteen. One of them was Sydney. So, she asked me if I wanted to tag along and help out. She hadn't been to NY in 16 years and her daughter and Sydney's other friend had never been there. So we set out on Fri morning. We drove to the train station in NJ and took the train into NYC. We stayed in my neighbors relatives Apt. It was small but, doable. He is not lacking in funds but it was still small but only a block and a half from the theatre where Wicked was playing. We had planned to go when we planned the trip. We only stayed until Sunday afternoon but we had a good time. Here are few pictures from the weekend.

Jessica, Sydney and Breanna in Times Square. It was about 10:30 at night and still hoppin'.

We stopped at the NBC store just for fun. It's right next to Rockefeller Center.

Here we are at Wicked. We were very excited. Only Breanna and I had seen it before, but not on BROADWAY. There just something about seeing there. It was FABULOUS!

We found ourselves atop the Empire State Building on Sat. Night. It was cold but really pretty. We took this picture in a mirror inside the viewing area after being outside freezing.

We stopped at the Magnolia Bakery after freezing on the Empire State Building and got extremely yummy cupcakes. The frosting on the chocolate was to die for. We had breakfast at the Stardust Diner the next morning. All the waiters are Broadway hopefuls and sing the whole time. They just keep taking turns singing and they wait on tables at the same times. It's a fun place. The one waiter even got in our picture while he was singing. The dark haired waiter was our waiter.
The picture with the model was in Abercrombie and Fitch on 5th Ave. Yes ladies, he was real. Every one of the girls got a copy of a picture that they take at the front. They just took their picture and gave them the photo. LOOK AT THOSE ABS! We found an M&M pillow that makes the same face Sydney does in all her pictures. We had a fun but exhausting weekend. We hope to go back. We did so much and I wish I could post all the pictures but that would take too long. Take a long look at these three girls, they soon will be driving on a road near you. Scary huh?

What a great weekend, I would love to go to NYC, IT looks so exciting, Crystal gets to go there quite often for hair shows and I asked (begged) her to take me next time, She doesn't need to take her husband every time, right! Seeing your pictures makes me want to go more. Oh "wicked" I will see that before I die.
