Pittsburgh won the Superbowl!!!!! This is huge deal here in Steelers Country. They get a little crazy over their sports teams here. We decided to join in the craze and have a few people over to watch it. We have become fans by living here. You just can't help being caught up in the whole thing.
Sydney had a hard time to sit through the whole thing and she retreated for a little while to check out books. So like Sydney and Ana..JPG)

Maddie cheered for awhile but boredom won out and she watched a Barbie movie up in my room. She wore her Polamalu shirt the whole night though, even over her jammies.
At the top of the 4th quarter, it looked like we had it in the bag but if you watched, Arizona made some surprising plays. But, in the end, Steelers made a touchdown with only 35 seconds left. What an exciting game. The kids re-enacted their shock of the Cardinals touchdown with only 2 minutes left. It really was an exciting game.

We are not football fans of any team, but we do watch the superbowl and so I picked my team which was Arizona just because i really like the quarterback, he is a amazing person who gives alot to others, but Jerry picked the Stealers, so we could bet (he loves to do that) well the phone rang and it was his dad so we paused it. I got up to check something on the computor and there was the final score. (we dvr'ed it) so it blew it for me, I was so mad. it just wasn't worth watching anymore! Oh well next year I'll know better. Glad you guys had fun! It will be fun to see you in a few weeks!
We watched the game too, it was super exciting! I'll bet Lorrell had something to say about it!
It was a great game. How fun to have such an investment in watching. Thatcher's best friend is a huge Steelers fan also, so Thatch was routing with you all the way!
