So, one year ago today, our friends (considered family) had their first baby. Jim and Angel welcomed little Sarah into their home. Her birth was bittersweet. We knew that Jim and Angel would be moving away from us soon after. Now they live in Texas and little Sarah is celebrating her first birthday today. We wish we could be there as she downs her cake and stares at her candle. But, alas, that is impossible for now. 
Luckily, Jim and Angel came for a short visit a month ago and we got to squeeze and kiss Sarah for 4 whole days. She is such a peanut. Maddie loved her every chance she got. I know that she would love a little brother or sister, but that's just not going to happen. Sarah was such a sweetheart and a great baby. She was very smiley and didn't even cry when we held her. We had a great time and hope they come again very soon. But for now we want to wish her a very, very happy birthday. We send love and kisses and hopefully a gift very soon. We miss you guys! Have a great day!
Sarah would only sit still for this picture because we gave her the remote control. She is so like Angel. She always wants the remote too.
